Chicken is everybody's favorite. Fried Chicken is the king of all chickens. Korean Fried Chicken hailed as "the Best Chicken in America" is the shiznits! Yes, it is exceptionally good. Although quite commercial compared to the authentic Korean fried chicken (양념 치킨 yangnyeom chikin) I've tried in my Korean friend's house, Bonchon Chicken has maintained, even bested the dish's best- bar/after work-
/after-dinner-snack reputation. And in the Philippines, Bonchon Chicken has gained a cult following that
enjoys it best with rice, fries, soda and sometimes a bottle of beer.
That was a Wednesday night when we decided to grab some Bonchon in Libis.

Justin: I like the chops. Tender, spicy, having just the right kind of crisp. It goes well with the fries and the quite interesting Kimchi Coleslaw. I'd say, it's a nice treat.
It's just not something I would eat on a regular basis though.

For me, it lacks the motivating factor that a regular go- to- fast food should have. That daily craving phenomenon that other quick service restaurants like Mcdo, KFC or Burger King have to charm their patrons. Maybe it's the lack of menu choices; or the boring interior. or maybe it's just me. MY OPINION.

Sam : As usual, spicy chicken wings never fail me. Especially Bonchon's. Its unique-melts-in-your-mouth flavor has really excited my palate! The slight sweetness in it really goes well with the strong chili and garlic presence. I enjoyed the entire plate with a bottle of cold beer.
I definitely like the food. I just don't like the place. I find it boring and lifeless. It lacks character. For me, chicken, especially of that kind, should be experienced in a fun and happy place. A place where splash of colors whet the appetite and inspire people to celebrate. Not in a monotonous room with equally monotonous staff that completely contradict the Whoah! character of their chicken.

I'd definitely order Bonchon Chicken Wings again. Through their Call for Pick- up service, of course.
Suggestion/s: inject fun, whim and happiness to your place for a real GV experience!
